• Hole 9 - Par 4

    Par 4 Stroke 3

Another tester par four from slightly elevated tees over a largish dam – carry around 170 to the generous fairway but well-guarded fairways – bunkers on left and right just within the landing area of a good drive – measuring 400 plus metres from normal tees, an accurate drive will leave you with around 150 metres to uphill elevated green guarded by two green side bunkers – putting surface slopes from back to front – depending on proximity to pin placement a three putt is common if you do not get your line and distance right. A great hole to finish your first nine.

  • Hole 10 - Par 4

    Par 4 Stroke 14

Uphill dog-leg left measuring 340 from championship tees guarded by large blue gum trees on the left – need to place the ball on the right side of the fairway to get a clear shot into the elevated green that is guarded by a largish mounded bunker at the front left. The big hitters could have a short sand wedge into the green – anything left or right of the fairway could result in a drop shot or worse. Once on the green tricky pin positions could result in a three putt if you are not on your game.

  • Hole 11 - Par 4

    Par 4 Stroke 10

Narrow driving hole with out of bounds all the way on the right and large blue gum trees on the left – get past these hazards and you are face with two fairway bunkers on the left at around where a reasonable drive will land. Measuring 370 metres this requires accurate driving and you will be rewarded with a shortish iron (depending on the direction of the wind) into a sloping green – green side bunker front left and mounded all-round the green makes any approach from the left tricky to stop the ball on the green. Once on the green the surface sloped from right to left – pin position and poor putting will result in bogey or worse.

  • Hole 12 - Par 4

    Par 4 Stroke 2

Another good driving hole measuring 360 metres from the back tees – long hitters usually take fairway woods or long irons to get the ball in position on the fairway – anything left or right will be punished – fairway bunkers on the left and right just where a good drive will land. Narrow entrance (blue gum trees line the narrow fairway from around the 120 metre mark to the green) into an elevated green well-guarded by green side bunkers front left and front – green slopes from left to right with slight undulations making two putting from any distance difficult. A good low strike hole but you will be rewarded with a good drive and shortish iron into the green –walk away with a par or better and you are playing well.
